Hi,
does the above not make sense? Maybe it's too tech-y, it's possible.
Simply, you have configured your GMail account using GNOME Online
Accounts (GOA, accessible in gnome-control-center).
I don't have gnome-control-center installed at all. And it cannot be
installed since it depends on gnome-settings-daemon which depends on
libpam-systemd.
There happened
something to your GOA settings and the created account in the
evolution(-data-server) cannot find corresponding account in GOA.
There can be couple reasons for it, from the goa-daemon not running,
to some odd corner case like you made the update, but didn't restart
all processes (ideally the whole machine), thus those background
processes is a mix of old binaries and the new binaries.
I'd suggest to restart the machine.
Machine has been restarted already.
If the problem still persists, go
to GOA settings and fix the GMail account there. If the account is
not
there, or it is unrecoverably broken, delete it and enter a fresh new
GMail account there. The restart should get rid of the orphaned GMail
account from the evolution.
The only hit by googling is https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/45394
