[Evolution] Lines in Message List Not Highlighted

I have just upgraded to Fedora-20, and am running evolution under KDE.  Everything seems to work OK, except for highlighting in some cases.  In particular, the active line of the message list is not highlighted, nor is selected text in a message being composed.  Selected text in a message that has been received is highlighted in pale blue; highlighting in the folder list works as before.  What's the reason and/or cure?

I suspect that this may be under control of a new Gnome parameter.  Any truth to this?

Hardware 4 processor AMD 64-bit
Fedora-20 with all updates installed
KDE: version 4.11.5
Evolution: evolution-3.10.3-1.fc20.x86_64
Video: Using Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT, Nvidia Driver Version 331.20
