Morning all hope everyone is good,
Is it possible to import all the calendars from a server using
caldav? I can add one at a time and it finds the calendar on the
server and can add this one at a time which is great, But is it
possible to add all the calendar entrys from the server at once? (If
that makes sense?)
Hi,
you cannot do this directly from evolution (as of 3.13.5), but the
possibility is there. It is currently (including 3.12.x) implemented
only for ownCloud accounts configured by GNOME Online Accounts. The
owncloud-backend module for evolution-data-server [1] recognized the
ownCloud account from GOA and asks the server for all available
calendars and books, then adds each of them as available source, which
can be used by anything using evolution-data-server as its data source
(like Evolution, gnome-shell, ...).
here is a plan to write such discovery utility into evolution for
CalDAV/WebDAV servers, but it got lower in a ToDo list.
Bye,
Milan
