I Cc to upstream, since it's not the first time that upstream released a
version that is completely unusable for _serious_ work.
If you want _serious_ improvements you need to be way more specific.
You seem to have time for being active on the mailing list but not for
creating good bug reports that would help developers to fix the unknown
problems you're facing - you might want to reconsider priorities.
