Hello everyone!
Trying to get Kron perform this command:
/usr/lib/evolution/3.4/evolution-backup
--backup /home/user/evolution_bakup.tar.gz
Response:
Cannot open display
Debian 7.
Any ideas?
Evolution initialises the X display very early on in the application, so
if you try and execute it without a DISPLAY being defined it fails. No
doubt the evolution-backup executable does the same thing since I
suspect it is based on the same code.
I'm not sure that the evolution-backup executable is designed to be run
by the user - isn't it just called by the main evolution application
when a backup is required?
P.
