Looking at the server with Courier IMAP 4.8.0
Jan 17 20:01:31 myhostname imapd: Connection
Jan 17 20:01:35 myhostname imapd: LOGIN
Jan 17 20:33:25 myhostname imapd: TIMEOUT
Any idea, how that connection could time out and why Evolution does not
detect that?
Hi,
I'd get a backtrace of the stuck evolution, with debuginfo packages for
at least evolution-data-server, evolution, nss and nspr installed, to
see where it is stuck, which may give you a hint from the evolution's
side.
With respect of timeouts, see [1], though it's part of your 3.4.4, thus
might not be related to the issue. Depending on the backtrace, maybe
your IMAP(+?) deadlocked.
Bye,
Milan
