[Evolution] How to hide the big red error bar that keeps popping up all day, every day?

Evolution always wants to remind me of an "Error while pinging IMAP
server."

It's not an error, it's just a hiccup, a temporary thing, a momentary
lack of connectivity between my pc and my server.  It is of no
significance whatsoever.

I don't need to be told this all day long, every day.   

I especially don't need it to be shouted at me in a gigantic red error
bar.  Over, and over, and over again.

Any way to make it go away?
