Edit -> Search Folders -> Add -> Check "All local and active remote
folders" -> Condition: Match all. Click Ok. Select the new search
folder and set "Show" to "Unread Messages".
There are all unread messages in all folders.
I think the OP is asking for something different. TBird has different
views of the folder set in the left-hand pane, including Favorites,
Unread, Recently Used (or Most Used, I forget) etc. If you have a
zillion folders it can be a way to reduce the number you need to see at
once.
