I realize that it is old. I'm using what is essentially Ubuntu 8.04
(LTS). I plan to upgrade by June this year (possibly moving to Debian).

However, my issues do not seem to be related to the version of evolution
I'm using. I have a hunch that it is on fastmail's end. In fact, since
the last time that I've re subscribed to my fastmail IMAP folders, there
appears to be no issue at all. I'm giving it another day before I report
back to fastmail about it.
