[Evolution] Evolution hangs

I see on the status bar, "Retrieving message 000234343 (0% complete)",
"refreshing folder (personal) 0% complete", "scanning for changed
messages (100% complete)"
for a long time.... I have to kill evolution from a terminal.
don't know why...
