Nope. [wonders where the just-backup-dot-evolution thing came from, it
seems common, but has never worked or been the documented way to
backup...]
Did you backup your gconf settings?
I've done that but they don't show up when I open Evolution. Is there
something else I have to do?
If you recreate your accounts, stop evolution, including the background
services, and then restore your .evolution it *might* work.
