[Evolution] Date format

Hi
on the main message list on the GUI is there anyway of changing the date
format from mmddyy to ddmmyy
On the preview pane the date is as 
Wed, 05 Jan 2011 11:48:08 +0100 (01/05/2011 10:48:08 AM)
but all the messages are listed like 12/06/2010 for example.
which is in mmddyy format, but for us Brits it reads ad the twelfth day
of June
