[Evolution] Evolution webdav sending malformed URI

We are having major grief with bug

where webdav requests have the domain prepended to the host, e.g., it
sends packets and requests to mydomain com server mydomain com rather
than just to server.mydomain.com.

I don't know what I'm doing but I'm desperate enough to give a try at
finding and fixing the bug but I'm pretty lost in the
evolution-data-source addressbook code.  Can anyone point me in the
right direction for both where the URI is created and general hacking on
Evolution? Thanks - John
