[Evolution] Incoming message attachments

Is there a way to detach (i.e. remove) attachments
from messages in the inbox?
Usually, I like to save large attachments, which are
usually media or power point or large PDF types, on
disk in a separate dir. Once I do that, I like to
shrink the size of my Inbox by then deleting or more
precisely, detaching the attachment from the message.
This is what I was doing in TBird.
