Is Evo online? I don't mean is the net connected, but does Evo know it
is? Check the connector symbol at the lower left corner of the Evo
window. If it's open, click on it to establish the connection.

If this happens a lot, it means your system is using NetworkManager but
it hasn't been configured to manage your interface. Evo asks NM if the
net is up and believes what it says, so this has to be working.
