I'm trying to store contact lists from Evolution to OpenLDAP.
While it works with local addressbook, it does not on a LDAP directory,
with the Evolution schema loaded.
Is there a special trick to apply to get it to work?
Thanks
Some more information about it:
Evolution is running on Ubuntu 9.10 or 10.04 (same problem), and the
evolutionperson.schema comes from it.
OpenLDAP 2.4.7 (slapd) is running on an Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04).
If I understand correctly, the evolutionPersonList should work, but it
does not seem to...
No-one?
Someone here got it to work some day, at least?
I had it working [or at least I'm pretty certain I did], but a *long*
time ago. There are *serious* problems with trying to use a directory
server as a groupware stand-in; we gave up. The issues aren't with
Evolution (or at least weren't then) but just with how LDAP is used [or
not] by applications.
