I would like to sponsor that this bug:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=581602 get's fixed.
The purge function in the Calendar worked fine in 2.24.x but is broken
since 2.26.x. Now it only works on events that are recurring. I have now
tried with 2.27.91 and it is still broken.
