[Evolution] Printing templates

Greeting list!
I'm trying to print my calendar and address book such that they will fit
in my Day-Planner.

What would be the best way to set up templates for 8.5 x 5.5 pages and
fit such that they can be hole punched?

I've tried customized paper sizes, and when I apply the selection it
doesn't stick. It always reverts to letter size.
