Re: [Evolution] iCal Write access?

I have successfully added a network calendar from eGroupware (using
their iCalsrv package), and evolution loads the contents of the calendar
successfully.

However, when I try to add an appointment or task, I get and error
stating read-only access to the calendar.

I tried the same from the lightning plugin in thunderbird, and that
allows me to publish the new appointment to the iCal server.

Does Evolution (2.24) only have read access for iCal sources?

Yes. It can publish free/busy info as iCal and can cope with CalDAV,
but iCal sources are treated as web based items and as such are assumed
to be read only.
