Hi;
I fresh installed Fedora 11 two weeks ago along with Evolution 2.26.3.
I am running simple home POP3 mail.
1) Trash can no longer be emptied or purged no matter how much I fiddle,
shut Evo down and restart, etc.
When you run evolution from console, will it show some warning on it
when you try to expunge a trash?

2) For some reason the Composer has random 2-5 second delays when
inputting. It *feels* like my CPU is continually trying to catch up but
my utilization is in fact low.
Not much idea here, I think I saw something similar somewhere, but I
cannot recall precisely now. Maybe something with a dictionary you use,
but that's just a guess. Probably somebody else knows better.
Perhaps 1) & 2) are related, if Evo is continually trying to sync files
and folders?
I think I had problems of this sort when I had my Junk controls set to
check senders against an LDAP server, which was slow. Try setting Mail
Preferences->Junk->Lookup in Local Address Book Only.
