I'm trying to find where to set up for the extension .docx to display
Office 2007 documents attached to emails? For .doc files I get the
options to use Openoffice or Abiword as they are installed. At least OO
seems to being able to open .docx files.
If I may ask so I can pass on the information to the appropriate
maintainer, what was the MIME type on the .docx attachment?
To find that, right-click on the file again in Nautilus, select
Properties, and look for a "Type" field. Should look something like:
"Application Name (application/some-cryptic-notation)"
Here is the info:
Type: Word 2007 document
MIME type:
application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document
BTW: I've seen somewhere (and tried earlier) that I can open a Nautilus
window of a file displayed in a e.g. Genome terminal window.
Unfortunately I've forgotten it. It seems to be very handy sometimes as
I don't use Nautilus graphics for file listings/browsing, only CLI with
terminals.
Thanks,
Svante Signell
