Yes the crashes that you mentioned are fixed as part of the 0.28.1
release. As for the bug 550592, the traces suggest that while deleting
the older profile, Evo crashes. Maybe I am missing something but I can't
make out what's wrong in that piece of code. I'll keep looking.

Meanwhile try deleting ~/.evolution/mapi-profiles.ldb
That would remove all the older mapi profiles. Check if that helps.
