Hi list,
I am trying to test evolution-mapi, but so far with no succes.
I start evolution, and add an account with the type "Exchange MAPI". I
fill out server, user name and domain name, and press Authenticate. I
then get a dialogue saying:
Authentication failed.
MapiLogonProvider:MAPI_E_NETWORK_ERROR
In the terminal I get the following messages:
-----
e-data-server-ui-Message: Unable to find password(s) in keyring
(Keyring reports: No matching results)
e-data-server-ui-Message: Key file does not have group 'Passwords-ExchangeMAPI'
Create profile with kfc SB sbexch03.sb.statsbiblioteket.dk
libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c:2874:
exchange_mapi_create_profile: lock(connect_lock)
Logging into the server... MapiLogonProvider :
MAPI_E_NETWORK_ERROR (0x80040115)
(evolution:4292): libexchangemapi-DEBUG: Deleting profile kfc SB
libexchangemapi-Message: exchange-mapi-connection.c:2966:
exchange_mapi_create_profile: unlock(connect_lock)

Using Wireshark, I can see some communication going on with the
server, although I don't know enough about the protocols ot have any
idea what they are actually communicating about...
I am testing this on Fedora 11 snapshot 1 beta with the following
software versions:
evolution-2.26.0-2.fc11.i586
evolution-mapi-0.26.1-1.fc11.i586
I have no idea how to go on testing - can I turn on more debugging? Is
there a guide somewhere to the meaning of the error 0x80040115 (people
seem to encounter it quite a lot)? Are there newer versions available
I can test?
Any help is appreciated.
Best,
Kaare
