Hello,

as new User of Ubuntu i discorverd Evolution and was very happy using
this tool.
Organising mail was so easy but i still have an unanswered problem.
How to purge old mail in different folders which all have there own
timerule, ex Mailinglist 1 purge after 14 days, Folder 2 purged after 30
days.
I was looking for plugin or build in function but didn't find anything.
Does anyone have an idea how to realise this.

When you say "purge" do you mean "delete" or "expunge"? If you mean
delete, you could use an external script. If you mean expunge, and your
mail is on an IMAP server (you don't say), it can't be done because of
the way IMAP works.

In any case, Evo has no built-in way to configure different criteria for
different folders. All you can do is to automatically empty trash (i.e.
expunge all the deleted messages in an account) every so often, but note
that this will expunge even recently-deleted messages. There's no reason
this couldn't be enhanced to work per-folder rather than per-account,
but at the moment that's how it is.
