[Evolution] Find "All Related" messages

  My apologies if this has been covered to death.  I have searched the
archives and the web and not come up with anything...

I am looking for a quick way to find all related messages.  I have
discovered you can create a search folder by right clicking on a message
with the criteria "include all related" but then you have to delete it
after.  I would like to have a 'quick search' option or something like
an Outlook pop-up window with search results. 

Two notes:  
I have found that you can search by expression.  Maybe if I knew how to
use the current subject as a variable in the expression I could
accomplish this as a saved search.

I have also noticed that, even though I selected all available folders
for searching, it didn't return any results from the Sent Items folder
(using exchange).
