[Evolution] SVN head -> Exchange transport can only be used with Exchange mail source -> when trying to send email via OWA

Since rebuilding HEAD yesterday ( and today ), I cannot send outgoing
email from my exchange account any more.  I get the following in an
error dialog:


Error while performing operation.
Exchange transport can only be used with Exchange mail source


Any suggestions for a solution?
