Why are you privileged and can whine about my observations? I simply
reported what happened. I thought this mailing list was a place to
report problems in order to try to get them fixed (and hopefully help
other people with the same problem). I took the time to install and try
the MAPI plugin and report the results I had and I DID say that I had
received help. I just found it surprising that no one responded to the
problems about authentication. I made some progress only to reach a
deadend.

Also, I believe I've read that the MAPI protocol is published (which is
remarkable given the way MS usually operates). Believe me, I would be
much happier if I never had to deal with an MS server of any kind.
