I don't want to make any promises, but many, many problems were fixed
with contact handling in Evo 2.12, both in LDAP and in GAL (Windows
Global Address List).  Since upgrading to the test versions a few months
ago I've had very few problems (except
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478404 which was fixed shortly
after 2.12 was released).
