I have the same issue. Well over a year and at least two major releases
after this change was made, and this problem STILL is not fixed. It's
bad enough that Evo duplicates effort by using its own timezone
implementation rather than using the system's TZ data, but when it's not
even updated in a timely fashion it's worse.

If someone could point me to where the timezone files are in
evo-data-server-2.12, I will see if I can edit them and post the
results. I appreciate it.
The unfortunate thing is that I think these are compiled in. I don't
think they live in external files like they do for the system timezone.
Anyway, I can't find any files on my system that look promising.
