[Evolution] Evolution 2.8.2 with Exchange calendar crashing

I have been using the exchange connector with evolution to connect to
our corporate exchange server for a couple of years (I paid for the
original Ximian connector.)  The connector has been fragile for the last
year, but I could usually get it going.  

For the last week or 10 days, it crashes whenever we I try to connect to
my Exchange calendar (we are heavy calendar users,  with lots of
recurring appointments, attachments,etc.)  Connecting with the INBOX
usually works.

I have deleted the account and reestablished it.

I have deleted the files in ~/.evolution/exchange.

I have uninstalled and re-installed all components of the evoution
suite. 

I always use evolution --force-shutdown after a crash to clean up.

Sometimes, but not always, I get a bug buddy crash report on startup.
