[Evolution] evolution 2.8 on sled 10

I am still trying to upgrade from evolution 2.6 to 2.8 and I am gradually getting closer because of you guys.  I was able to ."/configure" my tarball with out any problems but now I can not seem to be able to install it.  I tried "make install" and I got this mess.

linux-pvl:/tmp/untitled folder/evolution-data-server-1.8.2/addressbook # ls
ChangeLog  Makefile.am  backends  libebook       tests
Makefile   Makefile.in  idl       libedata-book
linux-pvl:/tmp/untitled folder/evolution-data-server-1.8.2/addressbook # ...
linux-pvl:/tmp/untitled folder # cd evolution-data-server-1.8.2/
linux-pvl:/tmp/untitled folder/evolution-data-server-1.8.2 # make install

I really have no idea what that all means.  Anyone know what I am doing wrong from looking at that.:)

Thanks,

Eric
