this leads to even more questions - which readme file? where is that one
located? how should a normal user know how to edit an xml file? does the
user have permissions to edit it at all?
I think it's safe to assume that a user who's compiling Evo from the
sources has the requisite permissions. If he's not compiling from the
sources then he's installing a package and presumably this kind of error
is not going to arise.
