Hi, Santiago.

The short answer is no.  The long answer is that the patch in this bug
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349966 should make it work for
most things (adding alarms to appointments still won't work).  The
release team didn't approve it for string freeze break, so it won't be
in 2.8.0, but it should (hopefully) make it into 2.8.1.
