[Evolution] Problem starting Evo 2.6.0 under SuSE 10.0

I upgraded to 2.6.0 yesterday after the smart/apt repositories got the
correct gtkhtml version. However, when I start evo, it hangs painting
the messages pane. If I start it from the calendar, it comes up, and I
can use email fine. In a terminal I see (firstly for calendar, then for
mail):

Any ideas? Could it be a bad plugin?
