I feel this is same issue as in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329251
All the fixes have been committed to cvs head.
Thanks,
Sushma.

Hi,
I am experiencing exploding virtual memory usage. After ~ 2 hours
Evolution, Evolution-exchange-storage and gconfd-2 are using more than 4
GB of virtual memory, filling up my swap space and rendering my system
slow. Closing Evolution lowers the virtual memory and swap usage but
gconfd-2 stays large (> 1 GB). Eventually I have to reboot to get my
systsme working again.
I am using Debian Etch 2.6.15-1-amd64-k8-smp, Evolution 2.4.2.1-1,
evolution-exchange 2.4.2-1 and gconf 2-.12.1-9
I think that I have enough real memory (4GB) to run an e-mail
program....
Is this normal? Is there a solution?
