[Evolution] inbox gone

Robert,
make sure that she didn't leave search criteria in the find bar above the message display!!
if that is fine, try the following:
shut down evolution
go into your home directory and cd into .evolution/mail/local In this folder you will see a bunch of files that correspond to your folders in evolution. what you need to do is delete all of the files that say Inbox.something except for the directory called Inbox.sbd
DO NOT DELETE THE FILE CALLED Inbox OR THE DIRECTORY CALLED Inbox.sbd!!!!!!
These Inbox. files are the indexes of your mail file which is just called Inbox Evolution will rebuild these indexes the next time you start it. It may take evolution a little while to open the first time you start it after this process, but it will come up eventually.
