[Evolution] SpamAssassin no longer working on Kubuntu 6.06

I have the same problem as Phil Groschwitz. I just upgraded my system to
Kubuntu 6.06 with evolution 2.6.1. On startup, evolution complains:

spamd is running:

spamc seems to work as well. But evolution doesn't use it. Quick help
would be appreciated as I get tons of spam every day.
