anyways, verifying pgp/gpg signatures works fine for me in Evo, so not
sure what the problem could be...

also, the key id is for signing, not verifying.

Hallo,

strange strange, what program does actually look for keyservers and
which daemon does make contact to the keyserver? Where are we to input
the keyserver-data, when not using seahorse (manually in gpgp is the
same procedure) since evolution does not offer any keyserver input!

I have installed: gnupg, gpgp, seahorse, openssh-client and all the
necessary components.
