all messages in a folder: use "control+a" + "control+k". all messages in evolution: set up a "search folder" without any criterium, e.g. with "sender | is | " (leave the text field at the end empty) and sources="all local folders". now you have a search folder containing all your local mails. go to that folder (it's at the bottom of your folders pane at the left) and use "control+a" + "control+k".

having root access, you can change/add accelerator keys of existing menu items by editing the corresponding xml files. for the relevant files, have a look at the xml files in your /usr/share/evolution/2.4/ui/ directory (depends on distro style; e.g. suse distro uses /opt/gnome/share/evolution/2.4/ui/ instead). be careful though, as you can easily break things. cheers, andre (thanks to guenther for copy&paste, like always ;-) -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed! http://www.iomc.de
