I tried to reply to an html message and the reply text was typed
backwards. This occurred with left margin or even when I tried to
center the reply. The cursor stayed in one place and the text was
typed backwards. This occurred whether the reply was before or after.
I tried an experiment later with another email and all functioned
correctly. I am just wondering if this is a possible bug,
Yup, this is a known bug. Happens in some rare occasions, and it's
apparently hard to find out what really causes this.
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273512
something in my settings, or just the characteristics of the
particular email. I have saved the email and the same thing occurs
when I reply to this particular email.
If the email does not hold private data, could you attach the mail to
that bug? (Save the raw mail to a file first.) If you don't feel like
creating a bugzilla account just for this purpose, I'd be glad if you
send the raw message to me directly. Thanks. :)
Is it possible that I am not able to "escape" the margin of the
replied to email. Really, this is a curiosity more than anything. But
having just migrated from Outlook and windows, I am really like
Evolution and am wanting to learn the functionality and quirks.
Welcome to a fun world. :)
