I was trying to subscribe to my Google Calendar with Evolution and accidentally created a CalDAV calendar instead of an "On The Web" one. Now the CalDAV one won't delete, and it keeps harrassing me about a password every time I open Evolution. Every time I right click on the CalDAV calendar and hit Delete, it pops up the confirmation box, which I hit Delete on, and then the box goes away--but the calendar remains. Help! I use Ubuntu Dapper, Evolution 2.6.1.
this is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335069 and already fixed in later versions. workaround: either update your evolution, or 1. fire up gconf-editor, choose apps->evolution->calendar->sources and *carefully* delete entries related to CalDAV. 2. evolution --force-shutdown 3. use evolution again cheers, andre -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed! http://www.iomc.de
