Is there a way to order the task lists. When i create a new list it goes to the end of the list. I would like to sort the list alphabetically first, and them be able to move some of them.
there is no *easy* way to do this, however it *is* possible by editing the order of the task lists in the corresponding gconf key "/apps/evolution/tasks/sources" (which i would not recommend to newbies) [1]. make sure that evolution is completely shut down when doing this. also, backups can save your day, so you should backup "$HOME/.gconf/apps/evolution" after running "evolution --force-shutdown" [2]. cheers, andre [1] gconf is a kind of registry for gnome. you can edit gconf graphically by using "gconf-editor" or on a shell by "gconftool-2". [2] evolution stores your data in $HOME/.evolution/, your account settings in $HOME/.gconf/apps/evolution and your passwords in $HOME/.gnome2_private/Evolution. -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed! http://www.iomc.de
