loos I have 2 HP Laserprinters added to CUPS. Both of these selections don't work. I tried 'Generic Postscript' and that does NOT work either. Creating a PDF file DOES work. I'm not sure why 'Generic Postscript' doesn't send to default printer with lpr. (lpr at command line DOES work.) Chris On Tue, 2005-10-18 at 00:04 -0200, loos wrote:
Since he is using Gnome, he uses the same libgnomeprint as the rest of gnome. The debian problem was that, when NOT using gnome ,you _had_ the choice between 2 versions of libgnomeprint. The actual problem seems to be a simple configuration problem. But since, the original author does not answer any configuration question, it is really hard to answer. Trying again: Which option of printer do you use (in evolution), oyou should at least be able to rpint using generic postscript + lp (or lpr) Michel. How was the problem fixed? Will upgrading to Debian Unstable fix the problem?
