I believe this is a feature request :
I write a lot of mail in English and in Spanish, so I have both
dictionaries active. My default is English.
German and English for me. :)
If I start writing in Spanish a lot of words are hi-lighted, then I go
to Edit, Current Languages and set it to Spanish. So fa so good.
If I go to Check word spelling in the right button menu, it search first
in the English dictionary, and then in the Spanish one.
Ant chance to set the dictionary as the language?
And thanks for a great software.
What I do is having both languages active all the time. Thus I don't
even care which language I'm actually writing in. Granted, there are
spelling mistakes, that don't get underlined cause it is a valid word in
the other language, but that really happens rarely only.
Edit / Preferences / Composer Preferences / Spell Checking
Enable all languages you frequently write in. HTH
