Re: [Evolution] update of unread mails [need help!]

suddenly the update of the folder/mail structure on the left doesn't
work anymore, meaning that allthough i've read a message and hence
marked it as read the folder/mail structure still shows the same number
of unread messages as before. the only thing i can do is restart
evolution which then updates the number correctly but only once, i.e. at
the beginning.

i tried this with evo-2.0 and evo-2.2.1.1, same behaviour.

any ideas?

i could really use some help in this issue. the problem remains although
i removed every possible related package and ~/.evolution and
~/evolution folders, even the /tmp/orbit-username folder. it's still not
working and i just re-installed the following packages after first
removing them:

 app-crypt/opencdk-0.5.5 -doc 0 kB
 dev-libs/libtasn1-0.2.13 -doc 0 kB
 dev-libs/lzo-1.08-r1 0 kB

 net-libs/libsoup-2.2.2 -debug -doc -ipv6 +ssl 0 kB

 dev-perl/Digest-HMAC-1.01-r1 0 kB
 dev-perl/MIME-Base64-3.05 0 kB

 gnome-extra/yelp-2.6.5 -debug 0 kB
 mail-client/evolution-2.0.4 +crypt -debug -doc -ipv6 -kerberos -ldap
-mozilla -nntp -pda +spell +ssl 0 kB

the strange thing is that my settings were restored anyway (at least the
mail settings). where the heck is evolution saving these settings other
than in my ~/.evolution or ~/evolution folder?
