I am using 2.0.3-1.2 from Debian Unstable and I now find Evolution
ending up hogging abnormal amounts of memory after running a few hours.
I use it to access my rather large IMAP account (50000 messages in 150
folders - about 2 GB).

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
4995 jim 16 0 530m 351m 67m D 25.4 72.0 0:32.98 evolution-2.0

As I only have 512 MB and run too many things at the same time, the
large swapping that ensues renders the system almost unusable.

Has anybody else encountered such a situation with Evolution 2 ?

Not with evolution 2.0.3-1.1 and e-d-s 1.0.3-2.

I've got about as many emails as you but only 1/10 the # of bytes
in courier-imap.
