[Evolution] Importing multiple *.cvf address files

Hi,

I have exported all the addresses from
my mobile phone to separate *.cvf files.
A single file for every address. 

I have around 100 *.vcf files and
would like to import these into evolution.

Unfortunately, evolution let me only pick
a single file and not a list of *.vcf
files to import.

I concatenated the files simple with 
'cat *.vcf > ../all.vcf' and tried
to import the all.vcf file.

Evolution importes the file (even
so it does not automatically recognize
it as *.vcf) and counts all the
entries but afterwards they are
not available in by addressbook :(

Do I have to use another method
to concatenate the files? Is
there a way to import multiple
*.vcf files into evolution ?
