Re: [Evolution] Evolution hang composing message

Hi Jeff

Looks like EDS has crashed so 'Evolution' is hanging. You raise a bug in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org under 'Evolution Data server' with stack
traces of EDS as well as 'Evolution'.

Thanks

Evolution sometimes hangs when composing a message; specifically, when
typing in an address in the "To" field. The address is only partially
completed at the time of the hang, for example:

    To: First Last <first.la

Address autocompletion is enabled for both my Personal and my corporate
LDAP address book, but the feature never kicks in to show any partial
matches before the hang occurs.

At other times--rather than hang--I've seen one or more dialogs with
text like "evolution-data-server has unexpectedly quit", "evolution task
server has unexpectedly quit", "evolution calendar server has
unexpectedly quit". I have seen these as far back as Evolution 1.4. This
most often occurs after my corporate VPN tunnel has stopped and been
restarted.

After the most recent hang, I attached to the evolution process with gdb
and typed where to get a backtrace:
