Welcome :)

The box runs SuSE 9.2 Pro, Gnome 2.6 and Evo 2.0.1 with all SuSE
patches. The box has no non-SuSE packages; nothing from the People,
Projects or Supplementary trees. It's a stock box.

Evo connects to an IMAP server that has about two hundred folders. It
does not store the IMAP mail locally. An increasing number of folders
have inaccurate "unread" counts; meaning Evo thinks there are unread
messages in the folder when in fact there are no messages in the folder
(I deleted them).

The IMAP server also has SquirrelMail, which does show an accurate read
count. So, I am thinking this is an Evo issue.

How can I get Evo to do a "refresh" of all of the folders on the IMAP
server, short of me deleting and then recreating the IMAP account in
Evo?

You would have to enable Edit->Preferences->Receiving Options (Tab)
In the sections "Checking for New Mail", there is an option "Check for
new messages in all folders", should help you :)

HTH.

Cheers,
partha
