I haven't found a groupware solution that is nearly as good as evolution, neither on windows nor Linux. I prefer evolution over MS Outlook too, mainly because of the much clearer interface and functionality (not to talk about other outlook problems like security issues and so on). And I have heard similar thing from other people in my environment..
